While a lot of discs in the series are filled to near-maximum capacity, there are 20 minutes of unused space here, which is especially a shame since the superior 12" mixes could have been used in several cases. Instead, the disc sticks to radio edits and album versions. The highlights include Thelma Houston's "Don'T Leave Me This Way," Ce Ce Peniston's "Finally," ABC's "The Look Of Love," and Cathy Dennis' "Touch Me (All Night Long)" (originally recorded by Fonda Rae). ~ Andy Kellman, All Music Guide |
