| The tomahawk head stone was found on a sand bar of the Kansas river near Arkansas City, Kansas when the water level went way down. When one examines it they can see the time and care it took to make the stone into a tomahawk head. The stone is "exactly as found". The handle is made from plyable limb just as would have been done thousands of years ago. Lower end of handle is wrapped with leather, braided strapping in brown and black. Stone head is held by tan leather strapping. This is a neat item! |
