Description:
This is a vintage "used" Native American Regalia Concho belt.

Small: Length to fit has three set holes at 29,30 and 31 inches: Max waist 31"
Width: Full 3 inches wide.
Leather: Nice, but worn and leather is still supple.

Conchos are stamped on back LS
LS means they are probably NAVAJO made: Navajo use the LS

We removed and weighed them:

1-Buckle: 42 grams
6-large: 29 grams each= 174 grams
4-medium: 14 grams x4= 64 grams
2-at 10 grams each= 20 grams
3 at 5 grams each= 15 grams
1 at 4 grams
1-smallest on drop: 3 grams

Total grams: 346 July Spot scrap price: 87 cents a gram= $280.14 approximate

Of course the chonchos are worth more and in very good shape, and could be reused on a project of your choice. So consider placing them on other Regalia and not the belt persay which is made for a very small waist. Or on a display of vintage Regalia.

There are 7 silver 2/3/4 ones on the main belt.
There are 11 on the side drop: From 2 inches down to 5/8ths of an inch
The side drop was designed so the wearing could attach items at the ending.

A Concho belt with "A matching side Drop".

This is an offering from a the private collection of D.J.Dennis

Age of belt? Known to be over 20 years old...full age unknown.

Belt has some scruff marks from wear: Normal..see photos
Belt is missing one brass stud...easy to replace...see photos
Conchos are absolutley in a mint condition....see photos

We do not fix these offerings. They are as they were when discovered by Mr. Dennis, and we desire all buyers to understand we make no claims upon the any item as it being perfect. They are fantastic discoveries and can be worn again! Or used for Native American Displays or Reenactors.

Our leather crafter did re-attach the side drop to the belt. We have not touched up the leather itself.
